Before you buy.
How do we get our own photos and videos in the game?
You don't have to do anything. After you buy, you chat with our agent, send your photos and videos, and it customises the game for you. Prefer to do it yourself? Copy pictures into the Pictures › PekaBoo folder and TV clips (.ogv) into Movies › PekaBoo, then open Settings in the game and tap Reload.
Can we change them later?
Any time. Message the agent with new pictures, a new video or a new date, and your house is updated.
Will my partner see the same pictures?
If you both use the version we set up for you, yes: you'll both walk into the same house.
Do we both need the game?
Yes. Each of you installs PekaBoo on your own device, then you meet in the same room. One purchase includes the downloads for every platform.
Can one of us be on a phone and one on a computer?
Yes. An Android phone and a Windows or Linux computer play together in the same room without any trouble.
Do we need the internet?
For online rooms, yes. If you're on the same Wi-Fi or one phone's hotspot, you can play with no internet connection at all.
How long is a round?
A few minutes. Chill Night has no goal and no timer, so it lasts as long as your evening does.
Is it safe?
There are no ads, no open chat and no accounts. You only ever play with the person who has your room code.
